Rehabilitation Done Properly

01

Assessment and Communication

Before we programme a single exercise, your coach conducts a thorough assessment of your injury or surgical history. We gather information from your physiotherapist or surgeon when possible, understand your current limitations, and identify which movements are safe to perform. This careful starting point is what makes our rehab programmes effective and injury-free.

02

Rehab Supersets

Your rehabilitation exercises are always programmed as a superset, pairing rehab-specific movements together to maximise your recovery time in each session. This approach keeps your rehab focused and efficient while allowing your coach to monitor your response to each exercise. As you improve, the complexity and load of these supersets progressively increase.

03

Gradual Return to Full Training

Rehabilitation is a process, not an event. Your coach transitions you from rehab-focused work to general strength training at a pace your body can handle. We do not rush the process. Every progression is earned, and every increase in difficulty is based on your response to the previous phase. That patience is what prevents re-injury and builds lasting resilience.

Common Injuries

What We Help With

01

Joint Injuries and Replacements

Knee replacements, hip replacements, shoulder surgery, and ACL reconstruction all require specific rehabilitation protocols. Your coach programmes exercises that restore range of motion, rebuild strength around the joint, and prepare you for a return to full activity. We have helped many members across Bedford recover fully from joint procedures.

02

Back and Spinal Issues

Herniated discs, sciatica, chronic lower back pain, and spinal surgery all require careful management. Your coach selects exercises that strengthen your core, improve spinal stability, and reduce pain without aggravating your condition. We take a conservative approach and progress only when your body is ready.

03

Muscular and Soft Tissue

Muscle tears, tendinopathy, rotator cuff injuries, and ligament damage all respond well to structured rehabilitation exercise. Your coach programmes a combination of strengthening, mobility, and stability work that addresses the specific tissue injury and restores full function over time.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

In most cases, yes. Your coach designs a programme that works around your injury while actively rehabilitating it. The key is having a qualified coach who knows what movements are safe and which to avoid.

Yes. We regularly communicate with our members' physiotherapists to ensure their training programme complements their rehab plan. This joined-up approach delivers the best outcomes.

It depends entirely on the injury and your body's response. Your coach sets realistic expectations and milestones, typically reviewing progress every four weeks. Some injuries resolve in weeks, others take months.

No. Rehabilitation is a phase, not a permanent state. Once your injury is resolved, your programme transitions to general strength training. Many of our rehab members go on to become stronger than they were before their injury.

We are a personal training service, not a physiotherapy clinic, so we do not typically bill insurance directly. However, many members use their rehab alongside NHS or private physiotherapy, and we are happy to provide progress reports for your insurer if needed.
