Every exercise is demonstrated by your coach and adapted to your ability level. If you can stand comfortably, we have standing exercises. If seated work is better for you, we have that too. There is no pressure, no intensity, just gentle, purposeful movement guided by a qualified trainer.
Falls prevention is a key focus of our over 70s sessions. We include exercises that improve your balance, strengthen the muscles that keep you stable on your feet, and increase your range of motion. These are practical movements that make everyday life easier, from getting out of a chair to climbing stairs to carrying shopping bags.

Drop-in sessions are available for our Active Over 70s programme. However, we recommend contacting us first so your coach can prepare for your arrival and discuss any health conditions or mobility issues.
Many of our over 70s members have conditions such as arthritis, osteoporosis, or recovering from joint replacements. Your coach is qualified to work with these conditions and will adapt your exercises accordingly.
